Hear what some of our reviews on Amazon say:

“This is a wonderful compilation of short stories by some very talented writers. One of my favorites was Green River, by Andrew C. Peterson. The story features a marine vet turned private eye who takes a road trip to pay his respects to a fallen fellow ex-marine. He finds trouble in his path when he stops at a mini-mart for snacks just as a snow storm hits. I won’t give anymore away, but it’s a well written and very enjoyable story. This book is worth the purchase. I really enjoyed it.”

“I read and enjoyed the entire collection of short stories. They were varied in topic and type, which was enjoyable. The one I enjoyed most was “The Mad AI” which was brimming with tension. I also didn’t know where it was going, which is relatively rare for me, a life-long reader of science fiction. Even though I thought I’d read almost every story in science fiction, I was pleasantly surprised by not being able to guess where it was going. It was a story you can FEEL as you read it. I also greatly enjoyed ‘Shield Monkeys’ and ‘Debra and the Corpse’ as both of these stories also had great tension and unexpected surprises in them. Overall, this collection was well worth the price.”

“Great collection of stories ranging from snippets of the everyday to wild sci-fi adventures. Especially liked the vivid descriptions of ‘Release,’ ‘Green River,’ and ‘The Haunting at Darlington Boardwalk.’ All very different but successful in drawing readers into the scenes. ‘Ladies First’ was another that was unique in its own way. Appreciated this anthology during quarantine.”
